What this site does not do

Stating this first because it is the shortest part. This website uses no analytics service, no advertising network and no tracking pixels. It sets no cookie while you are simply reading it, and it stores nothing else in your browser — no local storage, no session storage. The typeface is served from this site rather than from a third party, so opening a page does not tell anyone else that you did.

If any of that changes, this page changes with it before the change ships.

The one cookie, and when it exists

If you create an account and sign in, one cookie is set so that the next page knows it is still you. It holds a random value and nothing else — not your name, not your email, nothing readable. It cannot be read by scripts in the page, it is not sent to anyone else, and it is not used to follow you between sites. Signing out deletes it and closes the session on our side at the same moment.

No account, no cookie. Reading the site, running the demonstration and filling in a form all work without one.

What we record for people who have an account

For signed-in accounts we keep a record of deliberate actions: signing in, a failed sign-in attempt, opening the investor data room, starting the demonstration, requesting a meeting, and changes we make to your application. Each entry holds what happened, when, and the address the request came from.

We use it for two things. The first is security — a failed sign-in you did not make is something we both want to see. The second is knowing whether an investor we are talking to has actually looked at what we sent, so a conversation starts from where you are rather than from the beginning.

What we do not do: we do not record anonymous visitors, we do not measure how long you spend on a page, and we do not follow your cursor. The record cannot be edited or deleted by anyone, including us — the same rule the product applies to compliance records, applied here so that the log is worth something.

Questions asked on the Ask page

There is one thing this site records from a public page, and this is it. When you ask a question on the Ask page, the text of the question is stored, along with which answer came back or that none did. Nothing else goes with it — no address, no browser, no account, nothing that ties the question to you, and no way for us to group two questions as coming from the same person.

The reason it is kept at all is the list of questions that got no answer. That list is the clearest statement of what this site fails to explain, and it is what decides which page gets written next. Do not put anything into that box that you would not want stored as plain text; for anything specific to you or your company, write to us instead.

What you can choose to give us

Two forms on this site collect information, and only when you fill them in and submit them.

Founding Fleet waitlist

Company name, contact name, email and, if you provide them, phone, fleet size, number of trucks and trailers, truck makes and model years, your current ELD, fleet management system, camera provider and fuel card, your operating region, the operational problems you describe, and your interest and timing for a pilot.

Investor watchlist

Name and email and, if you provide them, company or fund, phone, investor type, typical investment range, stage of interest, LinkedIn, website and what you write in the free-text field.

Only the fields marked required are needed. Everything else is optional and exists to make a first conversation useful rather than exploratory.

Why we ask

Fleet details decide whether the hardware can work on your trucks at all — make, model year and connector type are technical constraints, not marketing segmentation. Investor details decide what is appropriate to share and when. We use what you send to contact you about FleetRan and to prepare for that conversation. Nothing more.

What we do not do with it

We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with advertisers or data brokers. It does not appear in the public demo — the interactive experience runs entirely on invented data, and real submissions are never used to populate it.

Where it is kept

Submissions are stored by FleetRan for the purpose above. Access is limited to the people who need it to answer you. If storage is unavailable, the form tells you so rather than silently discarding what you wrote.

Hosting

Like any website, the server that delivers these pages processes the technical information required to do so, including your IP address. That is a property of how the internet works rather than a choice we made, and we do not build profiles from it.

Your control

Write to hello@fleetran.com and ask what we hold about you, ask for a correction, or ask us to delete it. We will do it and confirm when it is done. You do not need to give a reason.

Children

This is a commercial trucking product. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
